Abby's Track and Field Debut!

Abby's first time on the track! 

 The school district puts on a casual track meet for all 4th-6th grade students each year.  Abby was so excited about participating for the first time this year!  She ran the 200 meter, the 400 meter, and the 800 relay.  Her team placed 2nd in the relay, and Abby also tried out the softball throw (as opposed to the more-dangerous "shot-put," I guess!) and long-jump.  It was a really cool experience for her!

Izze's protest, after Abby (so RUDELY, in her opinion) drank ALL the water from the community cup.  I did my parental duty and pointed out that Abby HAD just run 1/4 mile and offered Izze the opportunity to REFILL the cup....  But, she was unimpressed.  Gotta love sibling relationships, right???
