My daughter's self-esteem seems to be fine...

Abby looks at me, while I'm helping get her crayons safely back into their box and says, "You're cute." So, I, of course, reply, "You're cute." Then she starts to say something... and pauses... and says, "Never mind." I said, "What?" She said, "I was going to say, 'You're cuter,' but I'M cuter, so I didn't say it!"

Yep, gotta love that "I'm the queen of everything" mentality!!! I sure hope she still feels that way in the coming "awkward" years!

But, for now, she truly IS "cuter." And, I'm perfectly fine with that.
