Just checking in...

I can't believe it has been six months (almost) since we last posted anything-- how horrible are we??? You would think that I would totally keep up-to-date on this blog thing, since I LOVE the computer so much! But, I guess I just don't want to be too predictable....

But, I think I'll try to be better about this. I don't keep up with the girls' scrapbooks (I think I've done three or four pages in the past five years-- yikes!), although we take a fair amount of pictures. The problem with digital photography is that it almost offers TOO MUCH "instant gratification," and then we never get around to actually printing them! We did, however, make a DVD for my parents, since they don't even have INTERNET in their house. (Yeah, seems weird to me, too. They're not THAT old yet!!!) We need to be better about printing the pictures, though....

Here's my "cute moment to remember" for today:

Abby says to her sister this morning, "Izze, you know, you and me and mommy are all 'females,' and Daddy is a 'male.' Boys are called 'males'." I have no idea what they were talking about prior to that, but it was quite hysterical!

I probably won't get around to this every day, and I might not post many pictures (still need to figure it all out-- Dan has always done all of the photo posting), but it will hopefully serve as an "electronic scrapbook" until I can get around to the actual thing. (Maybe when they're teenagers!)
